Jordan D. Brown is a budding multimedia journalist emerging in the media industry. She was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland—located in Prince George's County. Jordan is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at New York University, specializing in the Reporting the Nation-New York program. She graduated from Morgan State University in 2023 as co-valedictorian with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism. In her years of journalism, she rose to the top as editor-in-chief of her university's student newspaper and garnered interviews with President Joe Biden, Governor Wes Moore, Pete Buttigieg, David Talbert, the cast of All American: Homecoming, and hopes for more as she pursues her career. She earned reporting internships at the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, USA Today, and Patch through the Dow Jones News Fund. During her undergraduate years, she served in multiple positions at Morgan State’s university newspaper, The Spokesman, while also serving as Vice President of the university’s NABJ chapter. Outside of journalism, she enjoys watching women's basketball, binge watching reality TV and spending time with her loved ones. |
